Under chili+ crockpot soup
Lots of beans and tomatoes make this a hearty chili recipe. Cumin and chili powder ensure lots of flavor!

Ingredients
2 lb. ground beef, brown and remove grease
1 1/2 C. chopped onion
1 C. chopped green pepper
2 garlic cloves finely minced
1 28 oz. can stewed or diced tomatoes, undrained
2 16 oz. cans kidney beans, 1 light, 1 dark, undrained
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cumin
2 Tbs. chili powder

This is a hearty Italian soup. Serve with bread and it’s a full meal. The recipe was originally from my husband’s Aunt Tina. This can be done on regular stove or crock pot!

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb. stew beef, ground beef or italian sausage, browned
1 lb. orzo pasta, half cooked
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 14 oz. can tomatoes
2 boxes or 3 cans beef broth
3 C. water
2 carrots, cut into bite size pieces
2 celery stalks, cut into bite size pieces
1 medium onion roughly chopped
3 medium red or white potatos
1 Tbs. minced or pressed garlic
2 tsp. pepper

1 onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
2 ribs celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced

Combine all ingredients with 2 qts. water in the Crock Pot. Cook on low, covered, 8 to 10 hours. Adjust seasonings and serve.
