Under creamy+ crockpot soup+ potato
This is creamy soup that everyone loves. A delicious start to any meal.

Ingredients
8 potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 sweet onion, chopped
2 carrots, peeled and diced
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
1 can chicken broth
2 Tbs. fresh, minced parsley
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 C. 2% or skim milk
1/2 C. all-purpose flour
Toppings: sliced green onions, grated cheese, or crumbled bacon
Directions
Sauté the onion in a skillet with a little oil till tender. Add to the crockpot with the potatoes, carrots, rosemary, broth and parsley. Add water to about 2 inches from the top of the crock. Season with the salt and pepper. Cook on high for 8 hours. 1 hour before serving, put milk into a measuring C. or jar. Add flour and whisk till combined. Add to the soup.

This is an easy crock pot or slow cooker chicken soup. I needed to extend one can cream of chicken soup and 4 chicken breasts to feed more than 2 or 3 people… my family loved it. It’s great for cold days!

1 26-oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can sliced potatoes (with juice)
1 pkg. frozen carrots
1 onion, diced
1 can sweet peas (with juice)
4 chicken breasts (can use any chicken)
1 C. water

1 C. chopped leek, white part only
1 clove garlic, minced
4 C. fat-free chicken broth
1/2 C. pearl barley
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. dried, crushed thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 oz. Canadian bacon cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1/2 C. evaporated fat-free milk
1/4 C. fat-free half-and-half
