Rice or Pasta Fagioli Recipe

Soup with navy beans and carrots with rice or noodles. Over the top to warm the heart!

Ingredients
1 bag dried navy beans, soaked
2-3 celery sticks
1 med. onion, chopped
2-3 carrots
smoked ham bone
garlic to taste
1-2 Tbs. parsley
1 Tbs. sage
2 Tbs. flour
4 C. water
1-2 Tbs. basil
salt and pepper to taste
1-2 C. rice or elbow noodles, cooked
hot peppers (optional)
1 Tbs. olive or peanut oil
